IS CAKERHQ AVAILABLE OUTSIDE OF AUSTRALIA?
CakerHQ is currently available in Australia only. We're continually working to bring CakerHQ to more countries in the future.
HOW DO I BOOK A CAKE IN CAKERHQ?
Booking a cake is super easy and quick. You simply search for bakers in your local area, check out their profile and past work then submit a request for a quote to them. For further information read our handy guide to booking a cake with CakerHQ.
WHY BOOK A CAKE IN CAKERHQ?
HOW DO I PAY FOR MY CAKE?
After you have reviewed and accepted your chosen cake maker’s quote you will pay a 50% deposit and we’ll automatically process payment for the balance 21 days before the event. If your event is within the next 28 days then you’ll pay 100% upfront and your baker can get to work.
WHAT HAPPENS IF I CANCEL MY ORDER?
Order cancellations and any refund amount owing are covered in our Cancellation Policy.

HOW DOES THE FREE TRIAL WORK?
We offer a two month free trial of CakerHQ for you to create your profile, explore the features and start taking bookings. At any time during this trial you may cancel your subscription and you will not be charged a subscription fee, providing you do not have future cake bookings in CakerHQ to fulfill.
I HAVE A PROMO CODE FOR MY SUBSCRIPTION, HOW DO I CLAIM IT?
When you are at the stage of selecting monthly or annual subscription payment option, there is a third option which is to join us using a promo code. Enter your promotion code here and the promotional discount will be applied.
WHY DO I NEED TO GIVE STRIPE MY BANK DETAILS?
To keep your bank details as secure as possible we have partnered with Stripe to manage the payouts to your bank account. Stripe offers a trusted, robust and secure payment facility.
WHEN WILL I GET PAID FOR MY CAKES?
We payout the balance in your Stripe account every Wednesday to your nominated bank account. This amount is made up of client deposits and balance payments. To see your current balance use the link in your business dashboard.
WHAT HAPPENS IF A CLIENT CANCELS THEIR ORDER?
When a client cancels their order we refund them as per our Cancellation Policy. Refunds are calculated based on the timeframe to the event, less any not refundable amount. Please see our Cancellation Policy for further details. The refund amount, if applicable, will be deducted from your Stripe account balance.
WHAT HAPPENS IF I NEED TO CANCEL A CLIENT’S ORDER?
In the unlikely event that you need to cancel a clients order the client is refunded 100% of any amount they have paid. This amount is deducted from your Stripe balance. Please see our Cancellation Policy for further details.
Please note that it is important that you do not cancel a client’s order on their behalf as this will trigger the Caker Cancellation and full refund to the client. If a client wishes to cancel their order then they must initiate the cancellation from their CakerHQ account. If you have any issues at all please contact us and a member of our administration team can assist you.
HOW DO I CANCEL MY SUBSCRIPTION?
You can cancel your subscription with CakerHQ at any time provided there are no outstanding cake orders. If you have any outstanding orders you will need to cancel and refund any existing orders and then cancel your subscription. This is to protect the deposit payments already made by clients. CakerHQ subscriptions are paid either monthly or annually in advance and are non-refundable if your subscription is cancelled.
